AI Face Shape Analysis: Photos, Results and Limits
GlowTira analyzes a selfie across six dimensions: symmetry, skin clarity, eye area, lips, jawline and harmony. Its pipeline adjusts and combines model estimates with photo quality and your selected goals. These scores are subjective AI feedback, not clinical measurements.
What happens after a photo is submitted?
The analysis produces descriptions and dimension scores, applies calibration, smooths recent results and weights the overall score according to selected goals. The app also returns uncertainty information and suggested actions.
Why can my score change?
Lighting, expression, pose, camera processing and model variability affect what the system sees. A different number does not prove that your appearance changed. Compare similar photos and read the explanation instead of chasing a higher score.
What does the score not establish?
It cannot establish objective attractiveness, diagnose a skin condition or predict a treatment outcome. We do not publish a clinical accuracy percentage. Optional proportion estimates should also be treated as AI estimates.
Turn face analysis into a useful style note
A photo-based face-shape estimate can help you choose a hair or makeup idea to explore. It is not a fixed measure of beauty. Camera distance, head angle and lighting can change the result for the same person; make your photo conditions consistent first.
- Position the camera at eye level, face forward and move hair away from the face. Avoid strong side lighting and obvious filters.
- Do not take an extreme close-up. Keep the whole face and jaw visible without tilting the head up or down.
- Instead of just saving a label, write the styling decision you want help with: parting, volume, makeup or colour.
- Use the same base photo and change one element at a time in virtual try-on. Changing hair, makeup and light together makes comparison harder.
- Keep a favourite preview as a reference. Discuss hair texture and maintenance with a professional before a permanent cut or colour change.
Analysis, preview and decision are different
| Stage | Provides | Does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Face analysis | Photo-based shape/proportion interpretation | Identity, health or objective beauty |
| Hair or makeup preview | A visual idea to compare | Actual hair behaviour or an exact result |
| Personal choice | A preference to explore | One correct face shape or style |
Example: comparing two hair ideas
Use the same photo to try a centre part and a side part. Note volume, how much of your face remains visible and the maintenance you would accept. Write which details you prefer instead of seeking a universal beauty score. This is an illustrative workflow, not a user result or personalised haircut recommendation.
What if two photos return different shapes?
Compare angle, distance, lighting and hair covering the face first. Choose a consistent photo instead of repeatedly paying for new analyses. An AI classification is not a fixed identity label.
Is face shape the only factor in choosing hair?
No. Personal preference, natural hair texture and maintenance time matter too. A visual preview does not measure all those factors.
